From the world-renowned Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University,

Mr. Richard Klopp, candidate for the PhD in Philanthropic Studies, and Associate Director of the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving will be teaching a day long seminar on the basics of fundraising for NGOs with particular emphasis on the institutions active in the faith-based sector. Participants will have a chance to learn principles and techniques of American-styled fundraising, as well as discuss how this applies to their particular situations in Africa.

The couples’ fellowship committee is organizing a Valentine’s dinner to be held on 14th of February 2011 at NEGST.

Registration.

  • Ksh. 1,000 for couples
  • Ksh. 5,00 for those who do not have their spouses around.

All are expected to register by 1st of February 2011. Registration sheets are posted on the notice boards and money can be channeled through the committee members.

The Institute for the  Study of African Realities (ISAR) at NEGST is pleased to invite you and two representatives  from your organization or church to an inaugural seminar on Strategic Thinking and Planning.

Leaders and managers who want to lead organizations to a successful future must make dynamic and relevant strategic plans. It is therefore imperative that these leaders engage in critical strategic thinking.
