November 4th, 2011 marked a successful dinner launch for the Transforming Hope Capital Campaign at the Laico Regency-Nairobi. The Campaign Cabinet comprised of members of the Board of Trustees and Governing Council provided invaluable leadership to the event. Two Hundred and Twenty Two guests graced the event and a total amount of Ksh. 25 million was raised, exceeding the target of Ksh.10 Million.
The greatest credit to the fundraising event was given to Guest of Honor and Chair of the Governing Council, Mr. Gideon Muriuki, (Group Managing Director & CEO Co-operative Bank of Kenya) who raised Ksh 15m Million. The Guest Speaker, Mr. Neverl Kambasha (Executive Director, Beryl Capital) from South Africa challenged guests to expand their vision by making the most of the opportunities the Lord provides them with.
