David and Julie Rowbory are from Scotland and Northern Ireland, each of which is the most beautiful place in the world. We met at University in Cambridge, but it took years to realise that we'd be better married to each other than apart. If you really want to, you can read more about our history / biographies.
Both having spent time working abroad (Julie in East Asia, David in Nigeria) we have a keen interest in cross-cultural communication and in introducing people of all backgrounds to Jesus Christ. Soon after we married at the end of 2005, we joined Wycliffe Bible Translators as Members-in-Training, with a view to joining the Bible translation task in West Africa, most likely. But our training began in Scotland, and continues in Nairobi, Kenya from September 2007 for 2 years.
You can get in touch by email, phone or writing.
Look at our support pages, if you want to find out more about what we're doing and how you can be involved. We also mention there other worthy people and projects we'd love others to get involved with. |
